Stafford
is not normally known as a hotbed
of paranormal activity… but all that could be about to change thanks
to a local web designer!
Foxford
Services' Stephen Boot conducted a routine photoshoot in November
on behalf of one of their clients, blissfully unaware he was being
watched by a strange hooded figure in the background.
It
was only when MD Leigh Darby started downloading the images that
he discovered the unexplained appearance in the shot.
Systems
Designer Stephen said: “I was taking some pictures by the side of
a busy road in Stafford , for a website I'm working on.
“It
was a standard shoot of the customer's premises, done in twilight
at about 4pm one afternoon, so there was a bit of traffic but not
many people on the street.”
Leigh
added: “When I downloaded Stephen's pictures to my PC, I spotted
a very shadowy figure alongside one of the cars. We have absolutely
no idea where it came from, because there was no-one around, based
on the previous photo taken about ten seconds before.
“We
did some analysis on the shots to see if we could identify it, but
that only made us more confused, and we're still at a loss to explain
it. No-one who saw the images we posted on YouTube can help us either.
“I've
checked some local stories of strange phenomena though and apparently
there was a witches' drowning pool in the area – maybe that could
have something to do with it?
“The
shoot was quite close to the river…”
